I'm Slaw. I've been selling clothes for forty years.

It started with a single jacket. I'd been working at a television factory, and I left — bought one jacket straight from a garment factory and sold it. Then another. Over the years that turned into six stores.

Then I lost it all. I wanted to open one large store, bigger than anything I'd run before. I wasn't ready for it. One thing gave way, then the next, and it came down like dominoes.

For several years after that I worked in another industry altogether. I watched this one from a distance, waiting for the right moment to come back. BrandFit88 is that moment — a new chapter, built on everything the old one taught me.

I'm not going to tell you this is a fresh start for a young brand. It isn't. It's a man who spent four decades learning what makes a garment worth owning, returning to the only work he's ever really understood.

Where the clothes come from

We source through established European wholesale distribution — stock that reaches the market through brands, licence holders and authorised distributors, held in warehouses in Italy, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands and Spain, and shipped from there.

Most of what you'll find here is first-choice stock from previous seasons and end-of-collection pieces. That is exactly why the prices look the way they do. A Valentino bag doesn't stop being a Valentino bag because the collection moved on — it just stops commanding boutique money.

Every item arrives new, with its original tags, packaging and barcodes intact.

Alongside the new arrivals, a small part of the catalogue — around two to three percent — is Preloved: authenticated pre-owned luxury, individually inspected and graded for condition. Each piece is clearly marked as such, so you always know exactly what you're buying.

To be clear about what BrandFit88 is: I'm not a brand boutique. I'm an independent retailer working through established European distribution channels — and I think you deserve to know that before you buy, not after.

What forty years teaches you

Cut. Weight. How a seam is finished. Whether a lining will hold up after a season or start pulling at the shoulders. You learn to see it in a second, and you learn that most people selling clothes never learn it at all.

That's the only real advantage I have here, and it's the reason every brand on this site is here on purpose.
